Metal Tapes
AnGer Metal Tapes are recommended when chemical treatment is applied during the reconstruction process. The use of appropriate retainer allows for achieving desired tension of the band. However, it is important to remember that if the lateral walls of a treated tooth are thin, the pressure of tape upon the tooth must not be greater then the specified marginal value. That prevents tooth walls from breaking.
With AnGer metal bands it is possible to separate securely the treated tooth from the adjacent ones. The tapes help to proceed with tooth reconstruction without any undesired influence on adjacent teeth. By large defects it is better to use the shaped polyester matrices or matrices with self-locking metal ring.
